Welcome to Louise Kelsey Dance. Louise is a movement practitioner and choreographer specialising in artistic collaboration. She has vast expertise and experience in performance, teaching dance, teaching yoga, facilitating creative practice, creating choreography, re-staging historical dance works, project management and community outreach.
Teaching
Louise is an experienced teacher in dance and yoga and has taught for a plethora of companies and institutions across the globe. She is passionate about the transformational power movement has and is committed to facilitating exceptional learning opportunities for anyone training with her.
Choreographic Work
Louise is a skilled choreographer with 16 years experience creating work for students, children, community groups youth dance, training dancers (at universities and conservatoires) and professional dancers. Performance Work
As a performer Louise has had the privilege of performing in both newly created and repertoire work. A personal highlight is the recreation of Doris Humphrey’s seminal solo Two Ecstatic Themes, directed by Lesley Main, which she has performed in the UK and USA.
